Jet Airways and JetLite introduce new, low 30-day advance purchase fares for the approaching holiday season

Jet Airways, India's premier international airline, and its all-economy subsidiary JetLite have introduced new, low 30-Day Advance Purchase fares, effective March 24, 2009.

With the introduction of these attractive fares, travellers can now enjoy low fares suitable for families to plan their holiday travel on Jet Airways and JetLite.

Jet Airways and JetLite guests who purchase tickets on domestic sectors 30 days in advance may now enjoy low airfares starting from INR 2,071 for Jet Airways, and INR 1,722 for JetLite. These 30-Day fares are all-inclusive, and exclude Airport Development Fee, User Development Fee and Passenger Service Fee components. JetLite passengers will also have to pay an additional transaction fee, over and above the other charges.

JetLite is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jet Airways India Ltd. and was acquired by Jet Airways in April 2007.  Positioned as an all-economy airline, JetLite promises to offer value for money fares.  JetLite currently operates a fleet of 24 aircraft, which includes 17 Boeing 737 series and 7 Canadian Regional Jets 200 Series.  The airline flies to 26 domestic destinations and 2 international destinations (Kathmandu and Colombo), currently operating a 110 flights a day, on average.

Jet Airways, with the acquisition of JetLite, today has a combined fleet strength of 111 aircraft and operates over 480 flights daily.
